Setting Up Pledge Committment Dates

The date fields in the subscription record are used in Gnosis for the following : 

Date Field	Purpose & Use
Starts	The beginning date of the pledge period. This is the date the first pledge installment is due.
Ends	The ending date of the pledge period.  Generally, this will be the day prior to the anniversary of the pledge period – i.e.:  If a 1-year pledge starts July 1st, the End date will be June 30th in the following year.
Invoiced Thru	This date is the date to which invoices have been raised.  If a monthly pledge beginning July 1st has had 2 monthly invoices raised already and Gnosis should raise the third onwards, this date will be August 31st – meaning the next invoice will be raised September 1st.
Paid Thru	This is the date to which payments have been applied.  As invoices are paid, this date is advanced appropriately.  You should not have to manually change this date unless you manually adjust or reverse invoice payments for the pledge, in which case, this date may need to be adjusted to reflect your change.
Date Committed	This field represents the date that the pledge commitment was made.  For organizations that accrue future revenue from committed pledges, this date will be reported for the purposes of recording the future commitment for accounting purposes.
