Overview

If you wish to export addresses from Gnosis to use with a National Change of Address (NCOA) run with a postal service licensee, you may use the "NCOA Household Address Information Export" in your report center to export data for processing for change of address.  If this report is not present in your report center, you may download it using the file attached to this article and use the report center "Import New" button to import it.

If you wish to export a smaller subset of records for processing, simply modify the report criteria as needed.

PLEASE NOTEThe organization providing the NCOA processing must return the file with the Person_ID,  Household_ID, and Address_ID numbers intact on the spreadsheet as Gnosis will use these to import the new address information into the database.

Importing Processed Data

When you receive the data back from your mail-house that has been NCOA (National Change of Address) processed, the following steps are required to import it back into your system.

If you are processing over 40,000 records, we recommend that you send the file to Connect4 support to have us upload it for you to prevent tying up your system for more than 4 hours, otherwise, please follow the instructions below:

You may re-import the processed NCOA data via CASS Processing in communications.  To import in the CASS Verification area of communications, proceed with the following:

  1. Ensure that your spreadsheet has the following column names on the first row.  These column names are case-sensitive and we recommend you copy/paste them from the above list:
    • [AID]
    • DeliveryLine1
    • DeliveryLine2
    • City
    • State
    • FullZIPCode
    • County_name
    • BadAddress
    • BadAddressComment
  2. Save the spreadsheet as a CSV file
  3. Open The CASS Verify area in communications (button in the bottom right-hand corner).
  4. Select the "Import CASS Results" tab on the left
  5. Specify your saved CSV file in the "Load Processed Address File" area.
  6. Press the "Import" button.
