Table of Contents

This reference outlines the process of adding static check-in options, or Resources, appearing to the right of the daily calendar events. This list of Resources is also the list used to manage for attendance and volunteer hours tracking in Event Central.

What is a Resource?

A Resource is an item that remains as a constant kiosk check-in item, in addition to the daily scheduled calendar events. Check-in on a Resource item is managed exactly as event attendance:

  • Most standard Gnosis attendance reports show Event and Resource attendance data.
  • Resource check-in history also appears on the Event Attendance tab in person form.
  • Resource check-in can be managed via the kiosk as well as edited manually in Event Central.

Common Resources Used

Member/Participant use of general services, ex. Working out, Library, Quiet Room
These options will show for anyone checking-in on the kiosk.

Volunteer task/position tracking, ex. Greeter, Childcare, Maintenance
These options will only show for individuals checked with the Volunteer Role attribute if they answer Yes to the question Are You Volunteering Today.
