The Upcoming Activities page provides a participant with a single view of all upcoming activities for which they are registered. These activities include event registrations, Group meeting sessions, and Zoom appointments in the Contact Management system.
Cancelling a Registration
Participants can cancel their registration for any event up to a specified time period before the event is scheduled to begin. This period can be specified in System Preferences (see "Setting up Cancellation Notification Period" below).
If the cancellation Cutoff setting has been set up, a "Cancel Registration" button will appear next to the events for which the participant has registered. On this page, only non-paid events are cancellable.
Setting up Cancellation Notification Period
The option to allow cancellation on this page will only show up if a preference has been set for the time limit before cancellation is no longer available. This preference is set in Settings --> Preferences & Settings:
- Search for "cancel"
- In the event management section, find the Reg. Cancel Cutoff option and specify the time period until which cancellation is no longer available. Leave this preference empty to remove the option for cancellation on the Upcoming Activities page.
The time period is specified as days.hours:minutes, so the value 1.12:30 indicates that cancellations can be made until one day, one hour, and thirty minutes before the event start time.
Please Note: If you offer a "Cancellation Button" in your registration confirmation and/or reminder emails, you may want to change the URL for that button to the URL of your Upcoming Activities page, followed by an AutoLogin token.
Submitting an Attendance Apology
Participants may also submit an "Attendance Apology" if they won't be attending an upcoming meeting for a group they are a member of.
Pressing the Click to Apologize button will notify the group facilitator that they will not be attending (1 above), and pressing the "Click to Attend" button will cancel their apologized status if required.
Online Attendance
Finally, this portal page also provides a single place where participants can find links to join any programs or events that are being held virtually over Zoom.
