Overview
Gnosis includes an address verification service that replaces the need to purchase a third-party service to verify all physical addresses added to Gnosis.
Addresses entered via your web pages and via the Gnosis Pro client software are all verified prior to submission to your database.
To enable the service and review the fees, follow the instructions in this article: Enabling Address Verification (USA & Canada)
Using Address Verification
Single Address Verification
Once set up, address verification is automatic in Gnosis Pro and on your web portal pages that collect address information. Norte that address verification can be turned off on specific pages depending on your requirements. Support can assist with the enabling or disabling of address verification on any web form on your Gnosis portal.
The images below depict address verification working in Gnosis Pro (on the left) and on the web portal (on the right). These prompts appear when the entered address is different from the postal service-approved address format.
When an address is verified by the system, it adds postal route delivery codes and County along with Latitude/Longitude location information for mapping and routing purposes. This also allows the system to indicate the distance from your primary service location on each profile.
Multiple Address Verification
Gnosis also provides the capability of verifying multiple addresses submitted to the service at once. To use this feature, go to the communications center main page and select the "Address Updates" option in the bottom corner of the form.
Any physical mailing recipient group may be used to select addresses for verification, or you may use the "All Household Address Verification" recipient group query attached to the bottom of this article.
The video linked below provides a short summary of the bulk address verification process.
