Introduction

This article references the Gnosis ADAPT V3 Report and is part of a 3-article suite:

Note: For all existing and new CSC Network Partners, this mapping was originally completed for you. This section is a reference for those who need to update or apply new mappings.

Gnosis ADAPT Data Mappings

The data elements used to generate the Gnosis ADAPT report are identified using a special mapping process. The following mappings are a one-time setup and are completed in Attributes Management and Reference Data Management.

Person Form Fields

The following Person record fields are required to accurately compile ADAPT data. If any of this data is missing from an applicable person record, their reportable information will be included in the unclassified data rows on the ADAPT V3 report. (See Using the ADAPT Reports article above.)

  1. Gender (See Reference Data section below)
  2. Record Status (See Reference Data section below)
  3. Date of Birth (to calculate age)

Attributes

The following list values are mapped with ADAPT Attribute Tokens in Attribute Management:

Member/Participant Information (Member/Participant Info attributes tab)

  • Member/Participant Type
  • Primary Cancer Type
  • Ethnicity
  • Employment Status
  • Income Range
  • Insurance
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Referral Source

Person Attributes (Person Attribute Categories tab)

  • Board Member

How to access/update attribute mappings:

Access the Attribute Management area and follow the steps below:

  1. Select the attribute to map
  2. Open the mapping options drop-down
  3. Choose the ADAPT category to map to.

Reference Data

The following fields/list values are mapped with ADAPT flags in Reference Data Management:

Record Status

  • The "Is a Member flag" can be applied to all desired list values within the Person Record Status option. This mapping ONLY determines which Record Statuses are to be included in the ADAPT Cumulative Member Count - which by definition should only include persons with cancer or family, friends or significant other of someone with cancer (including bereaved) who completes an annual visitor form (for the first time) and attends a program – either in a group or 1:1 setting, such as individual counseling.
  • A person's Record Status has no affect on all other counts in ADAPT; if a person is served (via event attendance or Contact Management entry) they will be included in the Gnosis ADAPT Report regardless of their Record Status.

Event Categories

  • Orientation
  • Adult Support Group Session
  • Adult Educational Programs
  • Adult Healthy Lifestyle Activities
  • Adult Social Activity
  • Child/Teen/Family Support Group Sessions
  • Child/Teen/Family Educational Programs
  • Child/Teen Healthy Lifestyle Programs
  • Child/Family Social Events/Activities
  • Outreach
  • Presentations (internal)

Flags to be checked ON:

  1. Corresponding category by name
  2. Counted in ADAPT.

See Outreach and Presentation Tracking guidance here.

  • General Support - ADAPT (all other types of services not covered by an option listed below)
  • CSS Initial Screen Completed (also checked for External: CSS Processing if you have CSS Integration)
  • CSS Rescreen Completed (also checked for External: CSS Processing if you have CSS Integration)

  • Open to Options
  • Resources/Referrals

  2. Counted in ADAPT
  3. Counted in ADAPT FTA (first-time attendees)

Note the following Service Type list values remain in the Reference Data list but are hidden from the daily picklists as these values have been replaced by more applicable options above: Cancer Support Source; Individual/Family Session.

Contact Management Contact Types:

  • In-Person
  • Virtual session
  • Phone Call
  • Email

Flags to be checked ON:

  1. Corresponding service by name

Note the Contact Type list value for "Meeting" remains in the Reference Data list but is hidden from the daily picklists as more applicable options have replaced this value.

Contact Management Resource Types

  1. The list of Resource Types will likely be unique to each organization.
  2. None of these Resource Types are mapped for ADAPT purposes therefor no Flags tab is available.
  3. In the Reference Data setup, the Contact Management Service Types tab is only used for filtering via service type during note entry; these checkboxes do not pertain to or affect ADAPT mappings.

Note the CSS survey types are included in the Resource Types listing, as these values are used to select the correct survey to send via the MyCare Report integration. These values should only be edited by Support.

How to access/update Reference Data mappings:

Access the Reference Data Management area and follow the steps below:

mceclip1.png
