If you have a link to a hardcopy version of your event/programs calendar pdf that you make available for download on your calendar page, you will want to update that downloadable file every time the downloadable calendar file is updated.

To do this, you will first need to log in to your C1 Web CMS system. If you are in need of login credentials for your Composite CMS, please contact support to request a composite CMS login.

Once logged in, you may proceed as shown below:

Part A - Replacing Existing PDF Files with New Versions

  1. Visit the Media Library Area of the C1 CMS system.

  2. Navigate to the location of the downloadable calendar files:

  3. Navigate to the first PDF calendar file to be updated and select it with a single click.

  4. Press the "Replace File" button to initiate the replacement of the previous file version.

  5. Press the "Select File" widget to locate the new PDF file to replace the previous month's file, select  the file, and then press "OK

Your existing calendar page link now points to a new file for the new month.  If you link to multiple files, repeat these steps for the second file.

Part B - Updating the Calendar page Link Text

Once the new files have been uploaded to replace the old ones, you may need to update the text on your calendar page if it refers specifically to a particular month for downloading the PDFs.  If your PDF link text says something generic like "Download the Calendar", then you may skip this step.  If, however, your calendar page specifies the month by name, you will need to update the text as shown below:

  1. Edit the Calendar page and locate the link text to be modified:

  2. When editing the links, it is easiest to use this four step process to select the middle part of the link text to be changed, and then remove the first and last character.  This prevents you from inadvertently changing for formatting of the link text, as follows:

    1. The initial link text looks like this:      r August an

    2. Select the middle part of the linked text:   r August an

    3. Replace the highlighted text with the new complete word or text:      r ASeptembert an

    4. Lastly, delete the end characters, leaving the newly changed content:     r September an

  3. Lastly, press the green "Save & Publish" button on the web page to make your changes live.
