New Email Editor Features (August 2022)

Overview

Over recent months, a number of new features have been added to the email editor in Gnosis.  Here's a list of the features for you to check out in case you missed them

Font Size on Mobile

Now you can set font size, padding, wrapping, and other types of block formatting differently for the mobile view.

To use this feature:

1. first, click on the "Mobile View" icon in the top left-hand corner of the email design canvas.
2. next, click inside a content item and notice the "Mobile" formatting icons that appear alongside the formatting elements that can be changed on mobile for that element type.  For example, by clicking on the "paragraph" type, you will see the following options are selectable for mobile formatting:

Hide Blocks/Rows

This feature hides specific content blocks that you want to be seen on mobile but not desktop & vice versa.

Don't Stack

When a row is rendered on mobile, columns are stacked vertically. With 1 click, this tool lets you override that, for when columns need to stay side by side.

 

Reverse Stack

Zig-zag designs (perfect for desktop) don't look right when stacked on mobile. This tool lets you reverse the stacking order on mobile with 1 click.
