Linking to a Free Program Event using the Calendar
NOTE: This instruction applies to Gnosis version 930 and later.
You will link directly to the calendar and auto-pop up the event info/registration window on the calendar.
- Paste your calendar page URL in the linking URL field of the desired text or button.
- From the Special Mail Merge Fields, double-click the AutoLoginParams item to copy it.
- Paste the copied content at the very end of the calendar page URL.
- Lastly, add the reference to the event you wish to directly popup when opening the webpage:
- You can add &EVID=1234 to display the next occurrence of an event with an ID (EVID) of 1234
- You can add &EVIID=56789 to display a specific event instance - 56789.
- You can also add &showreg=1 to auto-open the event registration panel.
- Your Main Calendar URL should appear similar to one of the following:
https://YOUR_ORG.gnosishosting.net/Events/Calendar«AutoLoginParams»&EVID=1234
https://YOUR_ORG.gnosishosting.net/Events/Calendar«AutoLoginParams»&EVIID=56789
NOTE: If you are placing the link on social media or don't want to use the auto-login token, just use either of the following instead:
https://YOUR_ORG.gnosishosting.net/Events/Calendar?EVID=1234
https://YOUR_ORG.gnosishosting.net/Events/Calendar?EVIID=56789
You can obtain the EVIDs and EVIIDs from the main listing in event management after clicking on the desired day on the calendar at the top of the page:
About Special Calendar Links
When adding parameters to the calendar URL create a calendar page listing simply add a question mark character (?) after the main page URL before any parameters
https://YOUR_ORG.gnosishosting.net/Events/Calendar?view=list
AN EXCEPTION: If you are using the «AutoLoginParams» token for email purposes, start with an ampersand character (&) after the «AutoLoginParams» token. If you are using multiple parameters, separate each one with an ampersand character (&).

Special Link Options
- Open in List Mode instead of Grid Mode: Add the following parameter to the Calendar URL

- Displaying Single Event Details only: If you want to open a calendar page to show only a single event - not as a popup over the full calendar, you can add a calformat=single parameter to the URL:
calformat=single
https://YOUR_ORG.gnosishosting.net/Events/Calendar«AutoLoginParams»&EVIID=567&calformat=single - Displaying a Specific Date: Add the text below and desired date at the end of the above URL. Note adding the desired date in this way will default the calendar to list mode for the selected day.
fordate=2020-04-21
- Displaying a Specific Month: Add the text below and desired date at the end of the above URL. If the desired month is not in the current year, use the year and month combination below.
month=## ex. January = 01, November = 11, etc. of current year
year=2022&month=09 September of 2022
- Displaying a Specific Category (ie: "Support Groups"): Add the category parameter to the URL and include each Category ID* number desired, each separated by a comma:
CatFilter=CatNum1,CatNum2,CatNum3
